  • Blue Cart Separate Collection Recycling Program Expanding to 47th Ward

    Building upon the experiences gained in the City?s initial separate collection program, and as part of the City's continuing effort to develop a culture of recycling in Chicago?s neighborhoods, the City of Chicago announced that it is expanding the Blue Cart separate collection program currently underway with 700 households in the 19th Ward to 80,000 households in seven wards across the city by August of 2007.
