  • Jefferson Township Property Tax Reassessment Meeting

    In June Alderman Schulter held a property tax reassessment meeting with the Cook County Assessor's Office for residents in Lakeview Township. On Thursday, August 31st from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at North Park Village Community Room (5801 N. Pulaski), the Cook County Assessor's Office and Commissioner Forrest Claypool are having a property tax reassessment workshop for Jefferson Township (residents living West of Western Ave. in the 47th Ward).

  • New I-Go Car in the 47th Ward

  • Re-Surfacing of Lawrence Avenue

    Re-Surfacing of Lawrence Avenue

    Alderman Gene Schulter in cooperation with Cook County Commissioner Forrest Claypool and the Cook County Highway Department, will be resurfacing Lawrence Avenue from the Chicago River to Ashland Avenue starting the week of August 21, 2006. Cook County Highway Department projects completion at the end of October 2006. In addition, the approximately $3 million project will include spot repairs of sewer catch basins, replacement of curb and gutters, and curb tripping hazards on sidewalks. During this construction period, please be watchful for No Parking signs. No Parking signs will be removed when no work is in progress.
