Lakeview Board of Review Workshops

The Cook County Board of Review is now accepting the Real Estate Assessed Valuation Complaint Form for residents living in the Lakeview Township.  In the 47th Ward, all properties located east of Western Avenue are in the Lakeview Township.  This is your opportunity to appeal the assessed value of your property for the 2009 tax year.  The deadline to file your appeal with the Board of Review is February 22, 2010. 

Alderman Schulter encourages all residents to submit an appeal.  In collaboration with Commissioner Berrios, he will be sponsoring two workshops to assist residents in filing their Real Estate Assessed Valuation Complaint Form.

If you are not able to attend either of these meetings, please feel free to stop by the 47th Ward Public Service Office at anytime to ask for assistance.  A copy of the form can be downloaded at the Board of Review website.  Forms can be dropped of at our office until Friday, February 19, 2010.
