Ravenswood School Competing to Refresh Everything

Ravenswood Elementary School is competing throughout May in an online contest for a $25,000 Pepsi Refresh Everything grant to promote math and science learning through music and to bring back its choirs.

If Ravenswood wins, funds will help restore a full-time music teacher at this Fine and Performing Arts Magnet Cluster School, which graduated Broadway and Hollywood Legend Bob Fosse (Cabaret) and is proud to send several bucket drum corps members to selective-enrollment high schools. Ravenswood teaches other educators about art and music integration in the classroom.
